One big concern that parrot owners have bringing their bird to FEBS is their diet. We have a carefully laid out diet plan for our residents! All parrots get worked over to our diet over the course of 6-8 weeks. Special needs aside, our parrots are on a pellet diet. They get nuts (size appropriate almonds/ walnuts, we avoid peanuts) in the morning. Fresh fruit and veggies are passed out daily in the afternoon. If we are facing a heat wave, we will do something fun like make frozen veggie or fruit cubes!
