FEBS was honored to have been spotlighted in a “community connection” segment that aired May 8 on 10 Tampa Bay (CBS-TV affiliate). You can view the 3½-minute video here.
We are very impressed with the professionalism and skill with which 10 Tampa Bay anchor Courtney Robinson and video technician Daisey Charlotte produced the spotlight. They did an amazing job of conveying the essence of who we are, what we do, and why we do it – we couldn’t have told our “story” any better had we produced the video ourselves! We are deeply grateful for the talent, courtesy, and accuracy exercised by Courtney and Daisey when constructing the segment.

The 10 Tampa Bay team spent over two hours with us May 2 touring, taping, and interviewing. The team and our staff had great fun interacting with one another, and Courtney and Daisey clearly enjoyed meeting several of our lifelong residents “up close and personal”. The team also learned a great deal about parrots and their care needs.

Looking for a unique way to entertain visiting family and/or friends this summer? Or maybe you and your “special someone” simply want to spend some quality time outdoors on a weekday? Here’s a great idea: Book a tour of Florida Exotic Bird Sanctuary on our website (www.flabirdsanctuary.org)! We even have a shady picnic area for guest use before or after their tour if that might be of interest to you.
As a closing reminder, it costs nearly $1,500 each and every day to provide shelter, food, medical care, safety, attention and love to the 850+ birds who call FEBS their forever home. Please donate today, and freely share the story of FEBS and its mission with your friends and family members.
