Tax Exemption & Charitable Contributions
Florida Exotic Bird Sanctuary, Inc. (FEBS) is exempt from federal income taxes under §501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. It is classified by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) as a “public charity” and is qualified to receive tax deductible bequests, devises, transfers or gifts from private individuals, trusts, corporations, and other qualified entities. FEBS remains in good standing with the IRS, continues to comply with all requirements necessary to preserve its tax-exempt status, and has no history of being audited or investigated by a government regulator.
FEBS is recognized by the State of Florida as a charitable organization and complies with the registration and donor notification requirements of §496.405 of the statutes (i.e., Solicitation of Contributions Act). The following donor notification is set forth in furtherance of that obligation:

!!CONGRADULATIONS !! But this does not surprise me . All the hard work that Pat and her staff and volunteers put in to FEBS is amazing . The Sanctuary is spectacular there is not on like it in Florida . It truly is state of the art . People should plan on having there parrot placed here especially If your bird is going to out live you . Feb's makes it easy they will walk you through the easy paper work .
