FRIENDS OF FEBS is a monthly giving program with 100% of every dollar going directly towards a sponsored parrot’s food, health care, treats and caregiver snuggle time.

FEBS is a national leader in the areas of parrot rescue and welfare but none of it would be possible without regular monthly gifts from Friends of FEBS members.

Will You Sponsor Me?

SPECIAL NEEDS PARROT

Some parrots have issues such as plucking, fear or aggression, or even self-mutilation. There are many reasons for this behavior, which is not uncommon in captive parrots. Special needs parrots need twice the care—including more avian vet time, individual dietary needs, heating systems, more toys and foraging opportunities, and more human one-on-one time—and that care is twice as expensive. At FEBS we strive for our special needs parrots to experience as much of the benefits of flock living as the non-special needs parrots, which means giving them more space, toys, attention, and health care.

FRIENDS OF FEBS GUARDIAN

Friends of FEBS Guardian donors are the sanctuary’s philanthropic leaders.

Their investment in FEBS fosters sanctuary breakthroughs by providing the resources to ensure that our parrots have the environment that is paramount to their happiness.

As a Guardian, you pledge $1,200 a year as an annual, monthly or quarterly donation.

As a special thank you, you receive free tickets to FEBS events, a FEBS T-shirt and an annual Founders Tour of the sanctuary hosted by none other than our own Bird Mother Patricia Norton.

Most importantly, you provide FEBS with the most efficient way to provide sanctuary life reimagined all year long for all of our parrots.
